About
Welcome to Audio tip a day. The goal is to provide a new tip every week-day regarding everything related to audio engineering, whether it be recording, mixing, mastering or music composition. These posts will all be short and easy to read but hopefully useful in your day to day musical lives.
About the author
My name is Björgvin Benediktsson. I’m 23, was born and raised in Iceland, and am currently studying audio engineering at the SAE Institute in Madrid. I’ve always loved music and starting the day my hands were large enough to hold the guitar I’ve been playing and writing which I continue to do to this day. This passion spurred my interest into the technical side of things, and in 2006, I began working as a live sound technician back home in Iceland. Since then I’ve had a lot of experience working in the field of live sound and have also been a teacher of sound recording and musical production.
Now I am focusing on discovering the academic side of my practical skills at the SAE institute. This web page is a tool to further understand and hopefully share my discoveries and knowledge with you readers out there.
Njótið vel (Enjoy)
Björgvin
